| Implementing
an ERP solution successfully doesn't just depend on the quality of the chosen
solution. The expertise and experience of the employees involved is equally
important. The project engineers of the provider or its consulting partner
must become quickly familiar with the structures of the user company and
develop an implementation strategy. In addition to their normal everyday
work, users have to think about business processes, attend training for
the new system and carry out the necessary masterdata and functional test
before production startup. In order to be able to organize these processes reliably and cost-efficiently, AP AG strikes a balance between using standardized processes and actively integrating and implementing customer-specific functions as needed. A core group of qualified and experienced employees reliably guide the customer to project success. Together with the user company, the project leader develops a concrete project plan with its key focuses and milestones, and monitors current costs and deadlines. P2plus covers the primary areas of functionality with pre-defined processes, which come with standardized procedures and training sequences. If customization is required, detailed concepts are drawn up and customer-specific programming undertaken if necessary. Stable system operation has other important prerequisites. Data has to be transferred from old systems, the database and application server have to be commissioned correctly, a data backup strategy hs to be established and in many cases a secure internet connection or a virtual private network (VPN) has to be set up. Thanks to ongoing training and certification (MCP, MCSE) however, AP project engineers are always up-to-date on the current state of the art. In addition, AP AG's training center has a wide and regular training program for various target groups including system administrators, project leaders and administrators of different departments. Training sessions are tailored to the target group and constantly updated. Alternatively, entire departments can be trained on site if the necessary infrastructure is available. Once the system has gone into productive operation, the support team are there to answer any application queries, to orient new employees or to resolve technical problems with the system. There is someone qualified to answer every question. The AP AG support team has online access to every customer installation so that even complicated problem analyses can be performed directly in the user's application. Fixes or even complete version updates can also be applied in this way. Our customers and partners also have a comprehensive online support infrastructure, which of course has been developed with the P2plus service module and the P2plus Intranet/Extranet. Providing high-quality consulting and service is as important to AP AG and our partners as the functional scope and quality of our software products. This is why we are continually investing in our employees' further technical and organizational skills. |
