Integrating
customer/supplier relationships via the internet is becoming increasingly
more important. We now know however that there is no yellow brick road to
e-business but that each company has to define and implement its own individual
e-business strategy. P2plus has a solution for all current e-business procedures
including internet shops for product sale or spare part and service transactions,
integration into procurement marketplaces and direct communication between
companies using current standard procedures. P2plus' internet orientation
make it the ideal tool to implement an e-business strategy.
P2plus
Internet Shop
The P2plus Internet
Shop is the classic shop solution for a standard product catalog range.
Customers can find out about the product range, check prices and availability
and submit their orders directly. These then appear in the P2plus MMS module
without any further intervention, ready for delivery and invoicing.
Variant manufacturers can integrate the P2plus Product Configurator
into the Internet Shop so that customers can configure their products as
and how they wish. Customers can also check producibility and determine
the sales price even with complex dependencies.
The Internet Shop can also be used as
part of a service portal to identify and order spare parts. For maximum
comfort, the P2plus Internet Shop also makes it possible to work with BOMs
and exploded drawings, a unique selling point.

XML/EDI
Processes
Thanks to its XML structure, P2plus also supports
a variety of EDI processes (OpenTrans, Microsoft BizTalk Server, Seeburger
BIS). P2plus allows you to configure many processes simply and in line with
requirements regardless of the individual EDI used; for example, placing
orders with EDI business partners, automatically transferring purchase orders
or collaborating on internet marketplaces. This is particularly applicable
for the automotive industry with its long-established practices.
Supply
Chain Management
When we talk about supply chain management (SCM) we mean maximizing supply
relationships through the electronic exchange of order data and interweaving
production processes between companies. This isn't just a simple matter
of exchanging order data. It also involves exchanging medium-term requirement
figures, synchronizing stocks online and optimizing resource deployment
throughout several companies.
This is where the advantages of P2plus' Web Service architecture come into
play. Customers and suppliers can directly access all the planning functions
they need via the internet and use them from their local IT systems.
