 AP AG holds its ground in the ERP market

If you've been keeping an eye on the trade press, then you'll know that things aren't going so well for a lot of ERP providers at the moment. The last 12 to 18 months have witnessed the bankruptcy of some very prominent competitors, the discontinuation of entire product lines and company buyouts by international capital managers. Other internationally positioned providers tried to further unstable the market with very advance product announcements. During these hectic times, AP AG was generally able to stay on track and strengthen its market position further. This was possible for two reasons: technologically state-of-the-art products and a conservative, customer-oriented business model.

P2plus, our technologically superior multiple multi award winning product, represented a timely investment in the future for AP AG. Today, already more than 250 companies are working with this product, which is entirely based on XML and Web Services on the Microsoft .NET platform. And at CeBIT 2004, AP AG will be ready to present the second generation of P2plus (version 4.0) which boasts a further improved user interface, many enhanced functions and the brand new Microsoft Reporting Server, another first for the ERP solution.

This product head start will now allow us to invest even more heavily in customer support. In addition to logistical competence, our customers are also increasingly demanding in-depth business consulting. We are also actively applying ourselves to the new requirements that are constantly arising in the areas of training, support and documentation.
