P2plus modules enhance P2 installations

| Four years ago P2plus was completely
newly developed on the basis of state-of-the-art, future-oriented technologies.
AP AG's years of ERP experience merged with an entirely new system core
resulting in a highly integrative solution. The clear and established data
structures at the heart of the solution were for the most part preserved.
Similarly, the basic design and interface of the input masks were familiar
to P2 users. Many aspects of handling were additionally improved.
The functional scope of P2plus has in the meantime clearly outgrown that of P2. Many of our customers have already migrated successfully from P2 to the new P2plus; others are in the process of doing so with our help. Experience shows that minimal user training is necessary for this changeover thanks to the solutions' related ergonomics. Changing over to the new solution is very smooth with no noticeable acclimatization phase. Thanks to intensive contact with our customers, it was frequently requested however that the functional scope of the established solution P2 be extended with new modules in an initial step. Intranet, CRM, Service and Project Management are at the top of our customers' wish list. We were also able to make this wish come true for our P2 customers with the help of P2plus' modern structure and consistent implementation based on Web Services. The new P2plus modules can be integrated into an existing P2 environment. This allows P2 customers to take a gentle first step into the new world of P2plus. In addition to the benefits of the new functionality, initial experiences with the new technology and P2plus handling can also be gained in real time. These modules are retained following a subsequent changeover to P2plus,
which guarantees investment security in the existing solution.
