P2plus can considerably speed up complex picking procedures for goods issue or assembly in larger warehouses. Using an RF (W-LAN) data-recording device with Windows Pocket PC operating system, warehouse staff has online access to all data in P2plus.

First the next order is selected on the recording device. Then a pick list is displayed including article number, quantity and warehouse location. The article number is scanned at the warehouse location and withdrawal confirmed. If needs be, a deviating withdrawal quantity can be entered via keyboard. Due to the fact that the device is connected with the P2plus server online, the withdrawal is also simultaneously recorded in P2plus and the associated reservation deleted. This means that all system users are always working with up-to-the-minute data.

Online picking is only one possible use of mobile terminals with P2plus. P2plus' Microsoft .NET structure makes it easy to provide desired functions for these kinds of devices at minimum expense: inspection processes, inventory processing, distribution, distribution of service orders and data entry in field service. There are practically no limits to how it can be used.

P2plus 4.0 is one of the first eERP solutions to integrate the new features of Windows 2003, Office 2003 and Microsoft Reporting Services.
